Everyone feels the pressure to look and act a certain way, but it’s become apparent in recent years that men are much less likely to talk about their body confidence. Expectations from others and wanting to appear macho can prevent boys and men from talking about their insecurities.
A lot of men struggle with their size, shape, height, skin, hair, muscles, and penis size. It’s natural to be aware of your appearance and compare, but for some people this can become extreme and begin to limit their lives.
It’s important to take care of your health and feel good about yourself, but when this gets to a point where your life is affected- you feel too worried to go out, you can’t stop thinking about food, exercise, or your appearance, you’re constantly comparing yourself to others- you need to ask for help.
